Now that we have crossed the vernal equinox and spring is upon us, we’re reflecting on the busiest winter we’ve had in years while looking ahead to a lively summer. The holiday season was an eventful one as we wrapped up three homes for three wonderful clients across the month of December and took some time to be with families in between. With one home north of Wake Forest, one South of Chapel Hill, and one in between, we have been spread across the entire Triangle region. Currently we have custom homes in various stages of build in Hills of Rosemont, Carolina Crossings, The Barony, and Avalaire, with more future Bost Home owners ready to get started. Let’s take a look at what’s ongoing:
In NE Chatham County off highway 751 is one of our featured neighborhoods, Carolina Crossings, an estate neighborhood featuring 26 multi acre, private lots. Here in late December we delivered a forever home to the Fleetwood family who moved in just before they welcomed family for Christmas and celebrated New Year’s by entertaining friends. On lot 1 in Carolina Crossings is our available home called “The Nest”, which is named for its universal design features and floorplan geared toward Empty Nesters.
The home has been recently sheet rocked and is currently being trimmed with interior moulding, cabinetry, wooden beams, and fixtures. This 4,000 square foot home features an Owner’s Suite, Guest Suite, Study, open Kitchen with Butler’s Pantry, Deck, and Screened Porch all on the first floor, in addition to a Bonus Room, two Bedrooms, and plenty of storage upstairs. It’s surrounded by, and includes a 3 acre meadowed lot, and is available for $1,199,999. View this on our website here.
Moving three miles north, our most active neighborhood is the Hills of Rosemont, a nearly built out gated estate neighborhood with 4 – 8.5 acre wooded estate lots. It’s always a treat to drive through the Hills of Rosemont and see the 15+ Bost Homes from the last two decades. We currently have 30,000 heated square feet under construction here across 3 homes, although one is days away from being finished and delivered to the client. Elsewhere in the community on a deep wooded lot, a Mediterranean styled home is 75% finished, while a masonry framed, contemporary home is in early stages on a premier lakefront lot. I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves; these dream homes are worthy of the deepest meaning of the ubiquitous phrase. Our clients have great taste in design! *Please note, punch work was ongoing during photography of this first home.
This brings us to Avalaire, Raleigh’s newest luxury custom home community in which we
are building the model home and sales center. Progress on this pinnacle project is moving along and we are close to the insulation and sheetrock stage. This home will be delivered in time for the 2017 Wake County Parade of Homes judging and public viewing, and we could not be more excited to welcome the judges and public to tour this estate. The home will feature bleeding edge technologies and products alongside centuries old craftsmanship and design techniques to create the paramount dream home standard of the Triangle. This showcase home will be leased by the developers of Avalaire for three years to be used as the sales center of the neighborhood. During this time a buyer can purchase the home, but it will not be available for move in until the end of the lease period. Want to take a sneak peek? Tour a 3D virtual model of this home:
Other than the Lodge, we are soon to break ground on a pre-sell for a new client on lot 17, and we are in design on another pre-sell home for lot 48.
