Project Overview
A one-of-one showcase home, The Lodge at Avalaire still deserves a spot in our featured portfolio nearly a decade after completion. The home was designed in conjunction with Christopher Phelps Architecture as a testament to new ideas: opposing accordion patio doors that open at a cantilevered corner of the dining into the porch, an open and vaulted great room that flows seamlessly into a chef-grade kitchen, a private primary wing with our first "wet room" with a solid glass barn door, and many other features, an elevated spa that spills into a 40' pool with an underwater fire-pit, and a shade pavilion covered in inconspicuous solar panels. Interior Design by Donna Davis of Design Works Studio, in lockstep with Rex Bost. Photography by Dustin Peck.
