Bost Custom Homes did some fantastic work at our house. We started out with a somewhat smaller budget, but decided to expand the project by quite a bit. Pedro from Bost (the project manager who oversaw our project from start to finish) was the absolute best, he was on top of everything at all times and never dropped the ball on anything. Pedro helped us to improve the ideas we had so that the finished product was beyond what we could have hoped for. The contractors that Bost used were very professional and very skilled. The carpenter was absolutely top notch in both personality and skill. I have never seen a real carpenter at work until I witnessed this guy working on our project. The crown molding had to be torn down in some areas of my living room. But, the carpenter was able to match this very hard to find crown molding (after some difficult searching) and nobody could even tell the whole wall was basically torn down and rebuilt. All in all, I would highly recommend Bost Custom Homes to anyone and everyone.

Bost doesn’t just build homes; they build happily-ever-afters. We started planning our retirement home more than a decade ago, but it took us years to find the team we could trust to make this dream a reality. From the moment we met Rex, during a Parade of Homes, we knew our search was over. Not only was the Bost home beautiful and meticulously detailed, but Rex was friendly and direct and quickly won our confidence. Building a home is a stressful, long-term process – this is the biggest single investment we will ever make – but we felt supported and safe from start to finish. Six months into living our dream, it’s still hard to believe it’s a reality. I would recommend Rex Bost and his team to anyone who cares about craftsmanship, who cares about quality, who cares about commitment.

Rex Bost has been our favorite builder in the Triangle over the past 25 years. In 1998, we hired Rex and his team to build our current home in Preston and it was a great experience. Rex was involved in every step of the project and personally got us through the challenges that come with building a custom home to the client’s satisfaction. 18 years later, we still love our Bost Custom Home and there is very little we would change today. Rex and Brenda are great to work with and if we build another home in the Triangle area, Bost Custom Homes will be our first and only choice.

We love our new home, absolutely love it. After a year of living in it, we still haven’t thought of anything we would do differently. We took a year to plan it and get the drawings right, and we are very grateful that we were not pressured to do it quicker. Rex supported us patiently as we went through the different iterations, and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome. But let’s take a step back, we wouldn’t even be on this lot if Rex hadn’t pointed it out and encouraged us to purchase it. And we turned it down at first, thinking the location was way out in the countryside. How wrong we were! Thanks to Rex’s perseverance we finally saw the light and realized what a perfect spot this would be for our dream home. Rex and his crew did a great job during the building process. His staff was wonderful to deal with – courteous, helpful and responsive. The exceptional service continued after we moved in, and Bost’s responsiveness to various punch list items has been nothing short of impeccable. We truly feel they are no more than a phone call away, and very quick to fix whatever needs fixing within a few days – or hours if that’s what it takes. Amazing! Building your own custom home is a big undertaking, no doubt, probably the single largest project our family has taken on. That said, thanks to Rex Bost and his crew we got through it on time, within budget and with a minimum of frustration. Thank you!
