Introduction:
We begin the process by sharing our experiences and educating our clients about custom homebuilding and what they should expect from their builder. Many of our clients have built homes before and appreciate the fact that we take time to explain the process. Each customer and home site has its own needs and characteristics. Design Phase:
Our design team works diligently to create timeless custom homes designed for the art of living. Whether we are designing in house or working with one of the many talented local architects or designers we strive to keep the project moving and within budget. When you are hiring an architect, we feel strongly that it is important to bring the builder in early in the planning process. By establishing your full team at the beginning of the design phase, you can leverage each firm’s areas of expertise and create cooperation and partnership from the start. This approach also minimizes the possibility of a competitive relationship developing after designs are complete, and instead promotes communication so potential problems in the design-build process can be resolved before they ever come to fruition. We seize every opportunity to hold frequent design meetings and plan reviews to nurture the free exchange of ideas between architect, builder and client. We take into consideration everything a client wants to achieve in their dream home. We ask questions about the way they live and how they entertain. Because location and orientation of the home on the building site is critical, we make sure to make a complete site evaluation to determine topographical issues as well as sunlight and the best views. Estimates and Analysis:
After the preliminary plans have been developed we encourage our client to allow us to provide them with a preliminary plan cost analysis. At this point we can help determine if the design should move forward or be revised to control cost. Our design coordinators begin to develop interior and exterior specifications, which have direct impact with regard to the overall building cost. This attention to detail also ensures a seamless transition from outside to inside the home. Our clients love this service because the more defined the specifications become the more accurate their estimate will be. Once the plans are completed we can provide a final detailed cost analysis.

Build Phase:
Our project managers utilize proven scheduling methods that give us unmatched efficiency in streamlining build time. On site and available for technical support and status reports, they are responsible for maintaining quality building standards as well as trade contractor supervision. Throughout the entire building cycle our design coordinators continue working with our clients to develop the projects specifications. We will accompany the client to visit our supplier showrooms to make selections. We will coordinate these visits to make sure the selections are made in time to accommodate the building schedule.
